Tapu Koko Animated BW Style by SelenaFF Tapu Koko Animated BW Style by SelenaFF
So, I happen to looooove the Guardian Deity of Mele Mele, Tapu Koko. In fact, I love it so much I decided to animate a sprite of it, Black and White style!
I made a minor edit to the original sprite so that it could close up its shell-like arms. And when I say minor I mean I scrapped a whole arm. :P
As of 11/19/16, this is now not usable without permission.

This is some very impressive work! I really want to tackle Tapu Koko sometime in the future as well, but I gotta say, yours truly is spectacular!

The closing of the mask part was fairly difficult for me, due to the fact that I couldn't get it so it didn't look choppy and slow. What I finally ended up doing was setting the frame rate at 75, doing 2 frames per actual frame on the part where fully out, and fully closed, and only doing 1 frame on the opening and closing parts. Turned out well, actually.

Yeah I could imagine how difficult that would be. I tried that I few times when I animated Charjabug, but I ended up settling one some other method. Regardless though, I still really like how this turned out!
